"Spiritual direction is the contemplative practice of helping another person or group to awaken to the mystery called God in all of life, and to respond to that discovery in a growing relationship of freedom and commitment."
Spiritual direction explores a deeper relationship with the sacred aspect of being human.
Simply put, spiritual direction is helping people experience their ongoing, unique stories everyday.
Direction is not licensed therapy or counseling, it is the ongoing discovery of what the Holy Spirit is saying to you, with the assistance of a guide to help point the way through a monthly meeting that involves prayer, conversation and spiritual exercises.

"The whole purpose of spiritual direction is to penetrate beneath the surface of a person’s life, to get behind the façade of conventional gestures and attitudes which one presents to the world, and to bring out one’s inner spiritual freedom….”
